Standing opposite the entrance to the King’s palace in Bangkok was another building. It wasn’t as grand but it had these intriguing doors. They were pretty in their simplicity yet any observer knew they were locked and whatever lay within was inaccessible.

How often are we like these doors? Colorful and inviting, yet we often hide what’s truly beneath our skin. But with God comes vulnerability. When we open up to His unconditional love, those dark places need to be brought into the light. And once they are, I assure you, freedom always follows.
